Mafutseni Police have arrested four male suspects in connection with a house breaking and theft case at St. Joseph’s Primary School that took place in March 2026.
The four suspects, three of them teenagers aged 16, 17 and 19, and a 26-year-old man, were arrested on Saturday afternoon. They are from Mzimpofu, Mbutfu and Mahlabaneni areas and are expected to appear in court today.
The suspects are charged in connection with a break-in at the school’s office, where the door was forced open and electronics and groceries valued at E206,775 were stolen. The stolen items include 40 Lenovo tablets, one Mecer laptop and two ASUS laptops.
Meanwhile, the Royal Eswatini Police Service has indicated that the investigation is ongoing and that additional suspects are still being sought in connection with the same case.
