Marrakech, Morocco – Eswatini has strengthened its commitment to international aviation standards following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority (ESWACAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Marrakech, Morocco.
The signing took place on the sidelines of the Global Implementation Support Symposium 2026 (GISS 2026), held from 14 to 16 April 2026, which brought together ministers, aviation leaders and industry stakeholders from across the globe to strengthen international cooperation, share best practices and support the effective implementation of global aviation standards.
Minister of Public Works and Transport Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe represented Eswatini at the symposium, participating in a high-level Ministerial Roundtable where discussions centred on advancing sustainable aviation development and infrastructure.
