Manzini – The 58th edition of the Eswatini International Trade Fair has been officially launched, with the main event set to run from 28 August to 6 September 2026 at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini.

The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, together with the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA), held the launch on Tuesday, bringing together captains of industry and government officials to mark the occasion. Commerce and Industry Minister was represented by Principal Secretary Melusi Masuku.

This year’s fair runs under the theme “Unlocking Green Economy Opportunities for Sustainable Trade Promotion,” with a focus on ethics, transparency, green finance, recycling, upcycling and sustainable business practices as the Kingdom positions itself as a destination for responsible trade and innovation.

EIPA Chief Executive Officer Sibani Mngomezulu announced at the launch that exhibition rates will not go up this year, marking the second consecutive year that fees have been kept unchanged. The decision is aimed at encouraging greater participation from micro, small and medium enterprises, as well as attracting more foreign exhibitors.

The fair is targeting 280 exhibitors for this edition, and the programme will include business seminars, advanced data discussions, sports tourism partnerships and exhibitions across various sectors.

Mngomezulu said keeping the rates unchanged ensures the platform remains accessible, fostering growth for local SMMEs and expanding international business networks.
