Abu Dhabi – An Eswatini delegation led by Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo held investment talks in Abu Dhabi this week, meeting with some of the United Arab Emirates’ most powerful financial institutions.
The delegation sat down with officials from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, one of the world’s largest and most influential sovereign wealth funds and a key vehicle for steering the financial future of the UAE. They also met with the Mubadala Investment Company, a major state-owned sovereign wealth fund also based in Abu Dhabi. Talks were further held with senior officials from the Department of Health.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Kingdom of Eswatini and the United Arab Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding to waive visa requirements for holders of Diplomatic and Service passports from both countries.
The signing ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi and Eswatini was represented by the Minister for Home Affairs, Her Royal Highness Princess Lindiwe.
