A Liswati student studying in Taiwan has received a prestigious academic award in recognition of his outstanding performance during the final semester of 2025.
Nkanyezi Star Lukhele, who is pursuing an International Master’s Programme in Mechatronics Automation Engineering and Management at Kun Shan University of Science and Technology in Taiwan, was awarded the ICDF Academic Performance Award by the International Cooperation and Development Fund.
The award was announced by the Republic of China (Taiwan) Embassy in Mbabane, which congratulated Lukhele on the achievement. 
Lukhele expressed gratitude to the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Programme for the opportunity to study abroad.
“I extend my deepest gratitude to the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Program for this life-changing opportunity to pursue my studies. I sincerely appreciate my university, professors, and lecturers for their unwavering support and guidance. Above all, I give glory to God for His grace and strength throughout this journey. This achievement is a testament to faith, resilience, discipline, and excellence,” he said.
