The minister is accompanied by the country’s delegates: Mhlume Member of Parliament (MP) Sifiso Magagula, First Counsellor Sandile Hlatshwayo, First Secretary Themba Jacob Dlamini, Personal Assistant Fisiwe Gwebu.

Makhosini Mndawe, Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, and Mbuso Mxolisi Mamba, Commissioner of Labour, Kingdom, are government officials, with Mthunzi Shabangu, Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Public Service, serving as advisor and replacement delegate.

The delegation is accompanied by the Chief Factory Inspector of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Fortunate Phazi Zwane, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Eswatini National Provident Fund, Futhi Tembe, who are advisors.

There is also the employers’ delegate, being Business Eswatini Chief Executive Officer Nathi E Dlamini, Illovo Chief Executive Officer Muzi Siyaya and Business Federation of Eswatini (BUFE) President Thulisile Dladla.

The workers are represented by Trade Union Congress of Swaziland (TUCOSWA) Secretary General Mduduzi C. Gina, with his advisers being TUCOSWA President Bheki Mamba and Federation of Swaziland Trade Unions (FESWATU) Secretary General Phendulile Zikalala.

Eswatini was removed from among the countries that are scheduled for discussion. It is alleged that the alleged permission blockade for the observance of Workers’ Day on May 1 by TUCOSWA at Hlathikhulu may surface.

The Eswatini delegation departed last Friday and are expected back on June 14.

He said the delegation is composed of 12 delegates in total: six government delegates, three employers’ delegates and three workers’ delegates.

Mamba added that Business Eswatini has two delegates due to being the most representative employers’ organisation, and one delegate is from the least representative employers’ organisation.

“TUCOSWA has two delegates due to being the most representative workers’ organisation, and one delegate is from the least representative workers’ organisation,” he said.
