Mbabane – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has hosted a Lisango session with male staff at the Prime Minister’s Office as part of activities marking Men’s Health Month.

The session, held under the theme “Partners in Care: For Better Lifespans Across the Lifespan,” brought together men for what the Prime Minister described as an honest and enriching conversation on health, wellbeing and responsibility.

“Today, I had the privilege of sitting down with the men in the Prime Minister’s Office for a Lisango session as we marked Men’s Health Month under the theme, ‘Partners in Care: For Better Lifespans Across the Lifespan,'” Dlamini said.

Discussions covered the importance of physical and mental health, fitness, good nutrition and creating safe spaces for men to speak openly about the challenges they face.

The group also tackled the responsibility men carry in standing against gender-based violence, overcoming personal insecurities, supporting the ambitions of their partners and surrounding themselves with friends who push them to grow.

“These conversations matter. Strong families, strong communities, and a stronger nation begin with men who are healthy, responsible, compassionate, and willing to grow,” the Prime Minister said.

The session ended with a traditional meal of cow heads and hooves, with Dlamini noting that some of the most meaningful conversations happen around a shared table.

“I encourage every man to make his health a priority, seek support when needed, and continue striving to be a positive influence in his family and community,” he said.
