Mbabane – United Youth for Sustainable Globe Eswatini (UYSG), supported under the READY Movement and Y+ Global, participated in the Life Skills Education Manual Validation convened by the Eswatini National Youth Council and UNFPA Eswatini.
The validation process provided an important platform for stakeholders to ensure that the manual reflects the realities, needs, and aspirations of young people in Eswatini.
UYSG made submissions on the inclusion of critical and timely topics such as menstrual health management, climate action and environmental responsibility, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) linked with gender based violence (GBV).
These additions reinforce the importance of equipping young people with practical knowledge, life skills, and values that empower them to make informed decisions, protect their well-being, and become active contributors to sustainable development.
“At UYSG, we believe that investing in comprehensive life skills education is essential to building resilient, informed, and empowered youth who can drive positive change within their communities,” the organisation stated.
