King Mswati III has unveiled a 3D model of Eswatini’s upcoming Strategic Oil Reserve Facility, marking a major step in the country’s push for energy independence and economic advancement.

The announcement took place at Lozitha, where the monarch revealed the project’s model to government officials, development partners, and representatives from the energy sector. The facility is planned for construction in Phuzamoya by the Eswatini National Petroleum Company (ENPC), with technical collaboration from partners in Taiwan.

The project is designed to enhance Eswatini’s fuel storage capacity, securing the country’s supply against global disruptions. Officials say the reserve will also support industrial growth by ensuring consistent fuel availability for key sectors.
