The High Commission of India in Eswatini will host a public yoga session on Sunday, 25 May 2025, at Temple Hall, Union Paper Mills in Matsapha.
The event begins at 10:00 AM and is part of the countdown to the International Day of Yoga, which is observed globally each year on 21 June. This year marks 27 days to the official celebration.
Open to all members of the public, the session aims to promote physical and mental well-being through yoga, under the theme “Yoga for Harmony and Peace.”
The event is supported by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and forms part of a broader campaign by the High Commission to encourage healthy living and cross-cultural exchange between India and Eswatini.
The curtain raiser also coincides with the 2025 International Year of Cooperatives, which promotes the theme “Cooperatives Build a Better World.”
