Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla has departed for Brazil to represent His Majesty King Mswati III and the country at the second Brazil-Africa Dialogue on Food Security, Fight Against Hunger and Rural Development.
The high-level forum brings together leaders and policymakers from Brazil and various African nations to address pressing issues in agriculture, nutrition, and sustainable rural development. It is taking place this week in Brasília, the capital of Brazil.
Before boarding her flight, Dladla said she was carrying the hopes of all emaSwati and His Majesty’s vision for a future where no citizen suffers from hunger.
She mentioned that the event presents an opportunity for Eswatini to showcase its progress and engage in strategic discussions with global partners on improving food systems, fair trade, and agricultural innovation.
Dladla also expressed interest in learning from other countries and exploring partnerships under the umbrella of South-South cooperation.
