Mbabane – On Friday, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo, met with Business Eswatini President Mvuselelo Fakudze and CEO E. Nathi Dlamini to discuss ongoing economic and regulatory reforms.
The meeting covered progress on the Companies Act review, including digitalisation and simplified company structures, localisation and trade regulations to support micro, small and medium enterprises, and amendments to the Special Economic Zones Act to streamline licensing and attract investment.
Officials also discussed the new Immigration Bill, including residence-by-investment provisions, and addressed delays in work permits that affect investment.
