Autism Eswatini sets 4km hike

MBABANE – With only four days remaining, Autism Eswatini has intensified its call for emaSwati to register for the Autism Challenge 4km Hiking scheduled for 11 April 2026 at Tfutjana Mount Resort in Mkhondvo, KaKholwane.

The event, which starts at 7am, forms part of efforts to raise awareness and mobilise support for individuals living with autism across the Kingdom. Organisers have urged participants to wear sky blue, the official theme colour for the challenge.

Autism Eswatini is inviting corporates, community groups, families and individuals to take part in the 4 kilometre hike. Contribution options have been structured to accommodate different groups. A team of 20 people will pay E5 000, while a group of 10 will contribute E2 500. Individuals are required to pay E250, and children under the age of 12 will pay E100.

Payments can be made via Mobile Money or E wallet using the number 78404758.

The hiking event will be held at Tfutjana Mount Resort, located in the scenic Mkhondvo area of KaKholwane, offering participants both a physical challenge and an opportunity to stand in solidarity with families affected by autism.

Organisers have also indicated that food stalls will be available at a fee, including shisanyama, street food, snacks and treats.
