The Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Vusie Dlamini, travelled to Johannesburg, South Africa, to represent Eswatini at the 79th Meeting of the SACU Commission, which brought together member states to close out a series of institutional meetings.
Discussions at the meeting covered finance, trade, industrialisation, and a review of the SACU Strategic Plan running from 2022 to 2027.
Member states also turned their attention to the global economic outlook, acknowledging growing uncertainties while reaffirming the region’s resolve to build resilience and push forward with deeper regional integration.
