Botswana delegation tours Bulawayo cannabis farm

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe – A high-level Botswana delegation has toured a cannabis farm in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, as the country looks to develop its own hemp and medicinal cannabis sector.

The delegation was led by Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) Chief Executive Officer Keletsositse Olebile, alongside Botswana’s High Commissioner to Zimbabwe, H.E. Sarah S. Molosiwa. They were joined by ZimTrade Chief Executive Officer Allan Majuru, reflecting a shared interest in fostering trade, investment and knowledge exchange between the two neighbouring countries.

The visit gave the Botswana delegation a closer look at Zimbabwe’s growing cannabis sector, covering cultivation practices, regulatory frameworks and potential avenues for collaboration in value addition and export development.
