Mbabane – The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has appointed Basadi Construction as the contractor for a new 7.2 kilometre rigid pavement road in the Manhlonhlweni Community under Nkwene Inkhundla.
The announcement was made at a ceremony held at Zamokuhle Primary School, attended by Minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development Sikhumbuzo Dlamini.

The project is scheduled for completion within eight months and will give the Manhlonhlweni community a durable road surface that holds up in all weather conditions throughout the year.

Residents have long struggled during the rainy season, when poor road conditions cut off safe and reliable access to schools including Zamokuhle Primary School, as well as the Tholulwazi community and Manhlonhlweni itself. The new road is expected to put an end to those seasonal disruptions, keeping movement of people and goods safe and uninterrupted regardless of the weather.
