PM meets Qatar envoy at Cabinet Office

Mbabane – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Kingdom of Eswatini, H.E. Rashid bin Mohammed Isa Al Khulaifi, at the Private and Cabinet Office on Tuesday.

The meeting, which took place on 19 May 2026, focused on the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the State of Qatar.

Following the engagement, Prime Minister Dlamini said the meeting “reaffirmed the warm and growing relations between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the State of Qatar, founded on mutual respect, cooperation, and a shared commitment to peace, stability, and human dignity.”

The Prime Minister said government remains committed to strengthening international partnerships that create opportunities for development and mutual benefit, while also sharing the successes and values of the Tinkhundla system of governance.

Dlamini also revealed that he received an invitation to attend one of Qatar’s national celebrations, describing it as a gesture that “reflects the spirit of friendship and cooperation between our two nations.”
