Government has confirmed the arrival of eleven Third Country Nationals (TCNs) in the Kingdom under the existing bilateral arrangement with the Government of the United States of America, marking the fourth such group to arrive under the agreement.
In a statement issued on July 9, 2026, Acting Government Spokesperson, Thabile Mdluli, said the deportees are predominantly from African countries.
Government reaffirmed that during their temporary stay in the Kingdom, the fundamental rights of the TCNs will be respected and protected in accordance with the laws of Eswatini and the Kingdom’s international obligations. 
“Similarly, Government assures the nation that appropriate measures are in place to safeguard the security and well-being of the Kingdom and its people whilst the TCNs are in the country,” the statement read.
Government said the Kingdom of Eswatini remains a responsible member of the international community and will continue to honour its bilateral and international commitments in a manner that upholds its sovereignty, respects its national laws, and reflects its longstanding humanitarian values.
