MBABANE – Young women with a passion for Eswatini’s culture and traditions have been invited to enter the Miss Cultural Heritage Eswatini 2026/27 pageant after organisers officially opened entries on 14 July.
The national competition, which is overseen by the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC), is searching for a young woman who will serve as a cultural ambassador for the Kingdom rather than competing solely on physical beauty. The successful contestant will spend a year promoting Eswatini’s heritage, traditions and cultural values through community outreach and charity initiatives.
According to the organisers, the pageant places strong focus on contestants’ knowledge of Eswatini’s history, indigenous practices and traditional values. The winner will also represent the country at international cultural events, including the Miss Culture Global pageant. 
To qualify, applicants must be natural-born Eswatini citizens and residents aged between 18 and 26. They must not be in high school and must not be married or have children.
ENCAC has encouraged eligible young women who are confident, passionate and proud of Eswatini’s cultural heritage to apply, saying the pageant offers an opportunity to inspire others while helping preserve the country’s traditions.
