Ezulwini – The Central Bank of Eswatini has welcomed regional delegates attending the Bank Supervision Application Support Office Strategic Plan 2027 to 2029 meeting.
The meeting, held at the Central Bank premises yesterday morning, follows months of virtual engagements involving institutions from across the region. Delegates have now gathered to develop a strategic plan that responds to the changing regulatory and supervisory environment.
Director of Financial Regulation Lungile Dlamini said the working group would focus on strengthening regulatory and supervisory frameworks, incorporating technological innovations such as artificial intelligence and aligning the plan with directives from the BSA Executive Committee.
