MBABANE, Eswatini, September 21, 2026 Eswatini has taken part in the 2026 SADC Anti Corruption Expo and Games held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, bringing together member states to strengthen regional efforts against corruption.
The event provided a platform for SADC countries to share experiences, build regional networks and explore innovative approaches to preventing and combating corruption.
Eswatini participated in the event through its representatives and the SADC Anti Corruption Committee (SACC), with the Kingdom recognising Zimbabwe’s role in hosting this year’s regional gathering. 
The organisers and participating countries acknowledged the logistical and financial resources required to stage the Expo and Games, which bring together anti corruption stakeholders from across the Southern African Development Community.
The initiative has its roots in regional cooperation dating back to 2011, when Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini established the BOLESWA partnership.
The initiative operated under the BOLESWA arrangement from 2011 to 2017 before expanding in 2018 to include South Africa and Namibia.
The expanded grouping became known as BOLESWASANA and provided a broader regional platform for cooperation on anti corruption initiatives.
Eswatini has credited Botswana with taking the lead in establishing the initiative and developing what has since evolved into a wider SADC platform.
The Expo and Games are intended to help participating countries exchange knowledge, strengthen professional networks and develop new strategies to improve the effectiveness of anti corruption measures across the region.
