Eswatini Tourism Authority has entered into a formal partnership with KwaZulu-Natal Tourism & Film in a move expected to open new doors for regional tourism, improve travel connections, and promote shared cultural heritage.
The agreement was signed at the Africa’s Travel Indaba held this week in Durban, with ETA CEO Vusie N. Dlamini and Acting KZN Tourism & Film CEO Dr. Sibusiso Gumbi representing their organisations.
The Memorandum of Understanding lays the groundwork for joint marketing efforts targeting local and international travellers, easier travel between Durban and Eswatini, and stronger collaboration around major tourism and cultural events. 
Officials say the partnership will also support community-based tourism and offer more visibility for both destinations across key travel markets. The focus on cultural exchange is expected to appeal to tourists looking for authentic Southern African experiences.
