Traditional dances, rhythmic drums, and spirited singing from Eswatini took centre stage at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, during a day set aside to honour the Kingdom by the Japanese government.
The Eswatini National Day celebration featured a vibrant performance of cultural heritage, drawing crowds at the world expo. Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini led the delegation and said the occasion allowed the country to reflect on its journey, roots, and shared hopes for the future.
Hosted in the heart of Osaka, the event marked a moment of pride for the southern African kingdom, showcasing its unique identity and customs on a global platform. Following the day’s festivities, the Japanese government welcomed the Eswatini delegation to an official dinner, hosted by Ambassador Misawa Yasushi, Japan’s appointed representative for the Expo.
