MASERU – His Excellency Mr Pabitra Margherita, India’s Minister of State for External Affairs, visited Lesotho on 22 July 2025 for a courtesy call at State House.
He was received by Lesotho’s Right Honourable Prime Minister, alongside the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Honourable Lejone Mpotjoane, Principal Secretary Thabo Lekhela, and other senior officials.
Minister Mpotjoane described the visit as an important step to boost investment in Lesotho’s key sectors, including agriculture, water, energy, and pharmaceuticals.
The meeting aims to strengthen bilateral ties and promote sustainable development across these vital areas of Lesotho’s economy.
