Siphofaneni – The Royal Eswatini Police Service has launched a manhunt for a 33 year old man wanted in connection with the death of a young woman who was discovered in her rented flat near Siphofaneni. The woman was found with injuries that suggested she had been strangled, prompting an urgent investigation into what officers believe is a case of murder.
Police have named the suspect as Gcina Sipho Bhila from Mpompotha. He has been listed as a person of interest following early inquiries by investigators in the Lubombo region. Officers are appealing to residents across Sithobhelweni, Siphofaneni and surrounding communities to assist with any information that may lead to his arrest.
The search intensified after investigators gathered evidence linking the suspect to the deceased shortly before her death. Police sources say they are pursuing several leads, but Bhila has not yet been located.
