Bhunya police are investigating the theft of sixteen cattle, valued at E180,000, from a kraal in the Matseni area.
The incident occurred in the early hours of December 17, 2025. A 74-year-old man discovered the theft at around 00:30 hours when a family member checked the cattle and found the kraal completely empty. A routine patrol conducted just hours earlier at 23:00 hours had shown everything to be normal. The suspects reportedly struck under the cover of darkness.
The Royal Eswatini Police Service is calling on anyone with information that could lead to the recovery of the stolen cattle or the identification of the perpetrators to come forward.
