Autism Eswatini gets E100,000 boost

Ngculwini – Autism Eswatini has received a E100,000 donation from Swazi Empowerment Limited to support the establishment of the Autism Care Centre at Luhlokohla in the Ngculwini area.

The donation was handed over recently as part of Swazi Empowerment Limited’s broader programme aimed at supporting national development and assisting organisations working in critical social sectors across the Kingdom.

Autism Eswatini said the contribution was received on behalf of its Patron Inkhosikati Make LaMatsebula together with the board of directors management staff and members of the autism community.

The organisation said the funds followed engagements with Swazi Empowerment Limited around the development of the Autism Care Centre which is intended to improve access to specialised care and services for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Autism Eswatini noted that the financial support would play a key role in moving the project forward and strengthening services provided to children and families affected by autism in Eswatini.

Other beneficiaries under the same initiative included the Eswatini Cancer Network and the Ministry of Education reflecting a wider focus on community development and social impact.

Autism Eswatini expressed appreciation to Swazi Empowerment Limited for supporting its vision and said the donation would contribute meaningfully to the realisation of the Autism Care Centre project.
