Ndlunkulu Nozizwe Pearl Mulela Zulu, the second wife of His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini of the Zulu Nation and Managing Director of the Eswatini Development and Savings Bank, has congratulated the Class of 2025 in KwaZulu Natal following the province’s record matric performance.
The Queen’s message was released this week as KwaZulu Natal recorded a 90.6 percent matric pass rate, the highest in South Africa. The results were announced in South Africa, with the achievement celebrated across the province’s schools, communities and education sector.
Ndlunkulu Nozizwe, who also holds a senior leadership role in the Kingdom of Eswatini’s financial sector, described the results as a historic moment for KwaZulu Natal and a reflection of collective effort by learners, teachers, parents and communities.
She credited the success to sustained commitment to education under the reign of His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini, noting that strong support systems around learners continue to shape positive outcomes. The Queen said education remains central to transforming lives, particularly for young girls.
She called for continued investment in education, urging that more opportunities be created for young people, especially girls in rural and farming communities, to access quality learning, build confidence and reach their full potential.
The Queen further indicated ongoing cooperation with the KwaZulu Natal Provincial Government, the Department of Education and other partners to support the wellbeing and educational development of children across the province.
