Mbabane – The Premier League of Eswatini halted the MTN Premier League MatchWeek 15 fixture between Rangers and Tabankulu Celtics on Sunday, 18 January 2026, after heavy rainfall rendered the pitch unplayable.

The match, played in the Kingdom, was stopped in the 60th minute with the score still goalless as persistent rain continued to damage the playing surface. Match officials decided after conditions worsened and player safety could no longer be guaranteed.

This fixture was the only match scheduled for Sunday after six other MatchWeek 15 games were postponed on Friday due to widespread rainfall affecting venues across the country. The ongoing wet weather has disrupted the league calendar and forced officials to continually assess the state of pitches nationwide.
