Pigg’s Peak police are investigating the murder of a 15-year-old girl from Nsangwini, whose body was discovered in a local forest on April 3, 2026, at around 11:30 am.
The teenager was last seen on Wednesday morning leaving home for school. When she did not return, her family began searching along her usual route. They first found her backpack, and later pieces of her clothing were discovered hanging from a tree. Her body was eventually located deeper in the forest.
Preliminary investigations suggest she was strangled and struck on the head with a blunt object. The case remains under active investigation.
The Royal Eswatini Police Service is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Police have assured that all tips will be treated confidentially.
