Nhlangano police arrested two men, aged 63 and 37, from Mbangweni and Lesotho after seizing 126 kg of dagga without a license in Nsongweni.
The operation took place on April 8, 2026, around 2:00 PM following intelligence that a large quantity of dagga was being transported from the Mkhitsini area. Police intercepted the suspects driving a Honda Fit along Yithabantu Highway with the illegal substance.
A police spokesperson said the arrests demonstrate prompt action on criminal activity. Both men are expected to appear in Nhlangano Magistrate’s Court today.
