SADC electoral training opens in Maseru

Maseru – The Kingdom of Lesotho has officially opened a Southern African Development Community training programme for electoral stakeholders in Maseru, with the five-day event running from April 13 to 17, 2026.

The training was opened by Limpho Masilo-Motsamai, Acting Principal Secretary of Lesotho’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, who spoke about Lesotho’s commitment to democratic governance and credible electoral processes in the region.

Organised in collaboration with SADC, the training aims to strengthen the capacity of electoral stakeholders and build public confidence in electoral systems across the region.
