Water supply disruption in Mbabane postponed

Mbabane – Residents in several Mbabane neighbourhoods who were bracing for a water supply interruption on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, can breathe easy after Eswatini Water Services Corporation announced on Monday evening that the planned maintenance exercise has been postponed.

The corporation had on Sunday notified residents that water supply would be cut from 07h00 to 19h00 on Tuesday as part of a planned corrective maintenance exercise, with supply expected to be fully restored by 20h00.

The interruption had been set to affect Mantjolo, Lukhaba, Thembelihle, Eveni, Dalriach East, Fontein, Msunduza, Mahwalala, Golf Course, PTS, and surrounding areas.

No new date for the maintenance exercise has been announced yet. Residents can contact the corporation’s call centre on 2416 2007 or toll-free on 800 5000, or send an email to headoffice@ewsc.co.sz for further information.
