Matsapha – The Royal Eswatini Police Service Athletics Club has received running spikes valued at E120 000, sponsored by Adidas through retired athlete and coach Sergeant Sibusiso Matsenjwa.
The donation was officially handed over at the Matsapha Police Academy, where it was received by Deputy National Commissioner Bonsile Masuku, Senior Assistant Commissioner Christopher Lukhele and Assistant Commissioner Gcamani Dlamini.
The initiative is aimed at inspiring young athletes and promoting crime prevention through sport by keeping youth engaged in positive and productive activities.
REPS athletes expressed their appreciation to the National Commissioner and his executive team for the support, saying the running spikes would go a long way in improving their performance on the track.
