Mbabane – The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) board met on Wednesday to discuss the organisation’s strategic plans and preparations for upcoming international competitions, with the approval of Team Eswatini for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games among the key decisions made.
The board considered progress reports on the implementation of the EOCGA Operational Plan, presented by the Chief Executive Officer alongside various commissions. Members also looked at the Mid-Year Budget Realisation Report and conducted a budget review to ensure sound financial governance going forward.
The board approved Team Eswatini and the proposed budget for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, a significant step in the country’s preparations for the multi-sport event.
