During the visit, Wells met with staff, organisations operating at the site and some of the refugees, using the opportunity to discuss the challenges Eswatini faces in providing basic services to refugee arrivals in the Kingdom.

The High Commissioner praised Eswatini’s commitment to providing safe harbour for those seeking refugee status while their cases are being determined.
