Shongwe rises as the most decorated player as Nsingizini mark end season celebrations

Hluthi – Nkosingiphile Shongwe, the Nsingizini Hotspurs midfielder, is the most decorated player of the season among his teammates, honoured with three appreciation trophies at the team’s home ground in the Shiselweni region on Saturday.

The Most Improved Player of the Season award, the Players’ Player of the Season award, and the prestigious Player of the Season title secured him E24 000 in prize money at the club’s End of Season Awards.

The player of the season award carries a E10 000 cash value, while both the most improved player and the Players’ Player accolades attracted E7 000 cash prizes each.

Shongwe enjoys his dominance in the club’s standout campaign of the season. The player has been consistent in his performances, earning both his teammates and supporters’ admiration. Fans are full of praise for the club. Other players include Luyanda Nhlengetfwa, who was named Young Player of the Season and received an E5,000 token for his impressive development streak and performance; goalkeeper Sibusiso Dlamini, who received an E7,000 and the Goalkeeper of the Season award; Senzo Ndlovu, a striker who received the Golden Boot award and an E7,000 prize for finishing the season as the top scorer; and Vuyo Macina, who was honoured as a sportsman. He also received a E7 000 prize.

It was joy and celebrations as Nsingizini held the End of Season Awards after finishing the season with three trophies.

Nsingizini dominated the season by winning three trophies, including the MTN Premier League, which precedes the pre-season 8Bet Trade Fair Cup in September 2025, and their first 2026 Ingwenyama Cup.
