Ezulwini – The Eswatini Revenue Service and FNB Eswatini have completed a landmark integration that will allow trade payments to reflect on client accounts in near real time, cutting delays in the country’s customs declaration process.
ERS Commissioner General Brightwell Nkambule met with FNB Eswatini CEO Thokozani “TK” Dlamini and his team at FNB Head Office on Friday morning, alongside the ERS Integrated Payment Project team, to mark the milestone.

The integration links FNB’s payment platforms directly to the ERS ASYCUDA trade system, meaning that payments made into the ERS Customs Bank Account will now appear almost instantly on client accounts within ASYCUDA making the declaration process simpler, faster and more convenient for traders operating in and through the Kingdom.
Nkambule thanked FNB Eswatini for being the first bank to complete the integration, recognising the bank’s commitment to improving the client experience.

In response, Dlamini pointed to the importance of compliance and reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to making that process as painless as possible for clients.
Both leaders said they would continue working together as the project moves into its next phase, which will focus on domestic tax payments.
