Ezulwini – The Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) recognised dozens of companies, sole traders and partner entities across various sectors of the economy at the 4th Annual ERS Client Appreciation Day held on Friday evening at the Happy Valley Hotel in Ezulwini, under the theme “Stars of Compliance, Honouring Clients Who Build Eswatini.”
Fifteen companies received Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) accreditation on the night, among them Assegai Trading, Canterbury Estates, Transship, Elcor Industries, Eswatini Beverages, Eswatini Sugar Association, Farm Chemicals, Lewis Stores Eswatini, Matsapha Trading Company, Premier Eswatini, Prime Trading Company, Progress Construction, The Hub Hardware, Chapelat Eswatini and Usutfu Hardware trading as Matata.

ERS also honoured a number of partner entities for supporting the compliance journey, including the Eswatini Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, the UNESWA AI Academy, Eswatini Government Communications, the South African Revenue Service, the Eswatini Editors Forum and the Eswatini National Association of Journalists.

In the sole trader category, Marisa Boxshall Smith of Manzini received recognition, while regional micro category winners were Instant Info Tech Services in Hhohho, Agent 47 (Pty) Ltd in Manzini and ET Fourie Agriculture (Pty) Ltd in Lubombo.
Awards were also presented across the wholesale and retail sector, with Siyembili Motors Swaziland (Pty) Ltd taking the large category, Swazi Bandag (Pty) Ltd the large medium category, Swazi Truck and Bus Services (Pty) Ltd the medium category and Eclipse Investments (Pty) Ltd the small category.
In manufacturing, mining, quarrying and other industrial activities, Swaziland Beverages won the large category, Mbabane Quarry (Pty) Ltd the large medium category, Super Signs (Pty) Ltd the medium category and Paper Tech Eswatini (Pty) Ltd the small category.
The information and communication sector saw Swazi MTN Ltd honoured in the large category, Real Image (Pty) Ltd in the large medium category, Africa Power Group (Pty) Ltd in the medium category and Mrikeng Investments (Pty) Ltd in the small category. In the financial and insurance sector, First National Bank of Swaziland Limited took the large category, Tibiyo Insurance Brokers (Pty) Ltd the large medium category and Lion Head (Pty) Ltd the medium category.

Construction sector honours went to Stefanutti Stocks Construction Swaziland (Pty) Ltd in the large category, IFA Engineering (Pty) Ltd in the large medium category, Alternative Energy (Pty) Ltd in the medium category and Eco Watt Electrical (Pty) Ltd in the small category. In agriculture, forestry and fishing, Tambankulu Estates Limited took the large category, L.A. Hulley (Pty) Ltd the large medium category, Eagle Air (Pty) Ltd the medium category and Westhouse Investments (Pty) Ltd the small category.
In education, health and social work, Limkokwing University (Pty) Ltd was recognised in the large category and Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Clinic in the small category. The professional, scientific, technical and support sector saw SNG Grant Thornton (Advisory) Eswatini (Pty) Ltd honoured in the large category, Kitwe Hydraulic and Pneumatic Engineering (Pty) Ltd in the large medium category, ZMCK Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd in the medium category and Bastion Security (Pty) Ltd in the small category.
Transportation and storage awards went to Southern Star Logistics (Pty) Ltd in the large category, Grindrod Logistics Africa Swaziland (Pty) Ltd in the large medium category, Takbro Services (Pty) Ltd in the medium category and Freightlux (Pty) Ltd in the small category. In real estate, Swazi Plaza Properties (Pty) Ltd took the large category, Simunye Plaza (Pty) Ltd the medium category and Patula Risk Swaziland (Pty) Ltd the small category.
The accommodation and food services sector saw Happy Valley Enterprises (Pty) Ltd honoured in the large medium category, Tibiyo Leisure and Resort (Pty) Ltd in the medium category and Lemon Tree Lane (Pty) Ltd in the small category. In other services, Overborder Investments (Pty) Ltd took the large category, Euro Swazi Investments (Pty) Ltd the large medium category, Bushfire (Pty) Ltd the medium category and Jhpiego Swaziland the small category.
DHL (Pty) Ltd was recognised in the clearing agents category.
Swaziland Beverages Ltd was named the overall highest compliant contributor for 2026, capping an evening that celebrated businesses and individuals across Eswatini’s economy for their consistent tax compliance.
