Mbabane – Following the Eswatini Stock Exchange’s (ESE) reliance on the African Exchanges Linkage Project (AELP) ecosystem, three authorised Eswatini stockbrokers have broadened their scope to include international transactions.

In a statement issued by the African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA), in partnership with the African Development Bank (AfDB), 268 Securities Limited, African Alliance Eswatini Securities Limited, and ALPHSZ Securities Limited, trading on ESE was connected this month on 1st July 2026 during the 13th Building African Financial Markets (BAFM) Forum, held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Announcing the official launch of Phase 2 Notice, the occasion was graced by Dr Duncan O. Ouma, Country Economist – Tanzania, African Development Bank, and officiated by the ASEA President Mr Pierre Celestin Rwabukumba as the launch connected not only the Eswatini Stock Exchange (ESE) but four in total from the African continent.

Here are the newly connected stockbrokers:

  • Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE): Motswedi Securities, Imara Capital Securities.
