Matsapha – A 62 year old resident of Mbekelweni returned from church on Sunday afternoon to find her home ransacked, prompting a police investigation in the Matsapha policing area.
The Royal Eswatini Police Service said the incident happened on 7 December 2025 at around 3pm. The woman became suspicious when she reached her homestead and found the gate standing wide open even though she had secured it earlier. She walked into the yard and saw that a window and the kitchen door had been forced open.
When she stepped inside the house she discovered that intruders had already fled with valuables estimated at E72000. Officers reported that the stolen property included two Apple iPads worth E25000, a Samsung tablet also valued at E25000, a pink pad laptop worth E7000 and an Acer laptop valued at E15000.
Police in Matsapha have urged members of the public to assist with information that could help trace the suspects or recover the missing items.
