Mbadlane – A 25-year-old woman from Mbadlane has been ordered to pay a fine of E9,000 or serve two years in prison after she was convicted of publishing a man’s image and personal information on social media without his consent, exposing him to cyberbullying.
The woman appeared before the Manzini Magistrate’s Court on April 10, 2026, facing charges under the Computer Crime and Cyber Crime Act 6 of 2022. She chose to pay the fine.
The case was opened on April 8, 2026, and the woman was arrested on the same day before being brought before the court two days later.
