Mbabane – ICT Minister Savannah Maziya officially launched FinGuard Magazine on Friday evening, a financial publication founded by Lungile Tsabedze that seeks to promote financial literacy, entrepreneurship and wealth creation in Eswatini.
The Principal Secretary from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade attended the event, representing the Commerce minister.
Speaking at the launch, Minister Maziya called for a change in mindset around money and the building of generational wealth, encouraging young people to focus on financial discipline and leadership.
“The big issue about money is to learn how to make it, grow it and keep it,” she said.
She also called on Africans to move away from unnecessary financial pressure driven by appearances and societal expectations, urging emaSwati to embrace financial wisdom, entrepreneurship and long-term wealth preservation for future generations.
