DHL Africa visits Eswatini to boost trade ties

Mbabane – ICT Minister Savannah Maziya on Wednesday hosted Ms. Leigh Gunkel-Keuler, DHL Africa Director of Corporate Governance Affairs for the Africa Region, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration and expand existing partnerships in the Kingdom.

Talks centred on the role DHL continues to play in supporting trade, logistics and connectivity within Eswatini, while new opportunities aligned with national development priorities were also discussed.

The visiting delegation toured several institutions driving the country’s digital transformation, innovation and communications landscape. These included the Royal Science and Technology Park, the Eswatini Communications Commission and the Eswatini Posts and Telecommunications Corporation. The group also visited King Mswati III International Airport and Matsapha Airport.

Wednesday’s engagements further included meetings with the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority and Business Eswatini, where investment opportunities, collaboration and strategies to support economic growth were on the agenda.
