Free EU Film Festival screening set for Ezulwini

The Alliance française de Mbabane will host a special free screening of The Village Next to Paradise on July 10, 2026, as part of the EU Film Festival.

The screening will take place at Movie Zone, The Gables, in Ezulwini, starting at 5pm, and is free and open to the public.

The Village Next to Paradise is a moving and deeply human story set in a remote Somali village. The film follows a family navigating love, resilience and hope as they confront the challenges of everyday life while dreaming of a better future.

Through intimate storytelling, the film offers a powerful glimpse into community, survival and the strength of human connection.

The Alliance française de Mbabane invited members of the public to come and experience the award winning film, which celebrates the beauty, struggles and dignity of ordinary lives.

“Bring your friends and family and be part of the conversation through cinema,” the organisation said.
