Scholarship applications now open for Eswatini students

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has opened applications for scholarships aimed at students seeking to pursue higher education in Eswatini and the SADC region, including Botswana, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Kenya, excluding South Africa and Namibia.

Eligible applicants must be in possession of an acceptance letter from a government-sponsored university or college in the aforementioned regions and provide their high school leaving certificates. All applications should be submitted online through the Ministry’s website at www.slas.gov.sz.

Students are encouraged to review the Government Priority List of study programs available on the Ministry’s website and Facebook page before applying, ensuring they follow the detailed instructions for the online application process.

The deadline for submission is June 30, 2025. Those needing assistance can contact the Ministry at 24042515 or visit the scholarship office on the ground floor of the Old Income Tax Building (Etolishini).
