The United States Embassy in Ezulwini has introduced a revised visa appointment system that will take effect from August 1, 2025.
Under the new guidelines, every Monday will be strictly reserved for Eswatini citizens and legal residents who have held valid residency for at least six months by the time of booking. All other applicants, including third-country nationals, will only be permitted to schedule visa interviews on Wednesdays and Thursdays as “non-residents.”
The embassy, located at the corner of MR103 and Cultural Center Drive in Ezulwini, will continue to process non-immigrant visa applications from individuals physically present in Eswatini. Citizens and residents of Eswatini will retain the flexibility to book appointments on any available interview day, either under the resident or non-resident category. 
Applicants must use the online reservation system to schedule interview appointments and are required to bring the same DS-160 confirmation barcode number used during booking to their interview. Those who arrive with a different barcode number will not be interviewed and must reschedule.
Each applicant, including children, must complete a separate DS-160 form and secure an individual appointment. All applicants must appear in person for the interview.
Due to long wait times, the embassy encourages people to schedule their interviews well ahead of planned travel dates. Applicants are advised to regularly check the online system, as earlier dates may open up through cancellations.
