Mbabane – Nsingizini Hotspurs FC president, Derrick Shiba, has assured supporters that the club has regained its footing after a challenging start to the season, and called on fans to back the team in a crucial league match this Saturday at King Sobhuza Memorial Stadium.
Shiba said the rocky start was rooted in stiff competition and a lingering CAF Champions League hangover, but stressed that the team has come out stronger and more focused. “We want to assure the Nsingizini family that all our focus is on defending the league title and winning another domestic competition,” he said.
The president confirmed the club’s mandate to compete in the next CAF Champions League and reach the group stages. He urged supporters to rally behind the team in the top-of-the-table clash against current league leaders, emphasizing the need for maximum points to return to the summit and finish the year on a high note.
Shiba also thanked fans for the vibrant atmosphere during last weekend’s match and encouraged them to fill the stadium this Saturday, calling on the Nsingizini family to support “the Pride of Emaswati.”
