Swakopmund, Namibia – The Acting Commissioner General of Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), Mr. Rakokoana Makoa, met with his Namibian counterpart, Commissioner Sam Shivute, ahead of the Southern African Inter-Revenue Administrations Games in Swakopmund, Namibia, running from April 4 to 6, 2026.
A total of 260 RSL staff arrived in Swakopmund on Thursday to participate in the games, which bring together revenue officials from across the region.
During the meeting, the two agencies discussed collaboration on tax debt management, revenue compliance, digital transformation, and employee development strategies. Both sides also agreed on the need to formalize their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate knowledge sharing and stronger cooperation.
