Mafutseni police have arrested a 19-year-old boy in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 24-year-old man from Fairview.
The incident occurred in the early hours of 4 April 2026, at around 12:15 am, at a popular drinking spot in Fairview. Reports indicate that the victim and the suspect had a disagreement that escalated into violence.
Police say the confrontation was linked to a gang-related issue. The victim suffered two stab wounds to the chest and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Authorities have charged the suspect with murder and investigations are ongoing.
